Jewellery and Objects at Youngblood: Designers Market

The Jewellery and Object Design Department from the Design Centre, Enmore is having a stall at the Youngblood: Designers Market held at the Powerhouse Museum as part of Sydney Design 08 this August.

The stall will showcase the work of recent graduates Natalie Klave, Sonya Scott, Kimberley Williams, A mi Kim and Nikki Majajas.

Proceeds from the stall will help to fund the students end of year exhibition pin UP.

The Newtown Community Annual Art Exhibition is a signature event in the cultural life of Newtown and the surrounding area. Over the past two years, the exhibition has awarded over $8,000 in prizes to emerging and established local artists and exhibited their work to thousands of visitors. This year’s theme is ‘Freedom’ and the exhibition runs to 30 May 2008 in a beautiful stone chapel at 280 King St. Newtown.
