Explorations 09 is an annual exhibition presented by A&E Metal Merchants. It is the 4th exhibition and will be held at Gaffa Gallery from 15 October to 25 October 2009, and then for the first time, travel to Melbourne’s Guildford Lane Gallery from 4th December to 12th December 2009.

[NCJA] the National Contemporary Jewellery Award is a biennial award offered for the best innovative contemporary jewellery design and is sponsored by Griffith City Council.

It will feature at Griffith Regional Art Gallery from 23rd Oct to 9th November 2008.

Gallery opens Wed to Fri 10am-5pm, Sat to Sun 10am-3pm.

The Makers, Contemporary Jewellery and Object Design Gallery, was Rocks market in Sep & Oct, organised & runned by John & Janis.

Jewellery and Objects at Youngblood: Designers Market

The Jewellery and Object Design Department from the Design Centre, Enmore is having a stall at the Youngblood: Designers Market held at the Powerhouse Museum as part of Sydney Design 08 this August.

The stall will showcase the work of recent graduates Natalie Klave, Sonya Scott, Kimberley Williams, A mi Kim and Nikki Majajas.

Proceeds from the stall will help to fund the students end of year exhibition pin UP.

The Newtown Community Annual Art Exhibition is a signature event in the cultural life of Newtown and the surrounding area. Over the past two years, the exhibition has awarded over $8,000 in prizes to emerging and established local artists and exhibited their work to thousands of visitors. This year’s theme is ‘Freedom’ and the exhibition runs to 30 May 2008 in a beautiful stone chapel at 280 King St. Newtown.

Emerging Designers Exhibition 2008

The Emerging Designers Exhibition organised by Paddington Markets showcased the work of 20 young Sydney designers in different fields providing fresh ideas that show what’s happening in Australian design today.
